Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.

  • Beautiful restaurant with wonderful food great service . Not to mention the great wines.
  • We had a lovely 2 course meal there with wine pairings for the sum of £22 with excellent service.
  • The Bodega Vistalba is lovely, the gardens and the facilities are integrated with the vines around and with the stunning landscape of the Andes mountain range on the horizon. Everything is well maintained, modern but rustic style well suited to the proposal from the Bodega. The almuerzo in 4 steps was fantastic, the main course surprised and harmonized perfectly with the top wine of the winery Vistalba Corte to 2013. We spent a wonderful day!

  • Excellent. I went with Colombian friends and loved. The wine is delicious! Very good also, visit very interesting. It is not very far, good option for tourists or for a short visit in which you want to see vineyards and mountains. They also make olive oil.
