Bodega Norton, Lujan de Cuyo

(4.3/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Try the wines and learn more about the history of Bodega Norton, the first Bodega to open south of the Mendoza River by English engineer Mr. Edmund J. P. Norton. The winery's tour is unusual as they allow visitors to try wines at every stage of the process from stainless steel tank, to oak barrel, to the bottled final version, an unprecedented window into the process of vineyards. Aspiring wine tasters and makers should also try lessons on blending during the tour, offered as an additional activity. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Bodega Norton and many more Mendoza attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Mendoza vacation route planner.

  • We take a tour of the grape harvest more visits in places of production of wine, their underground digging and see some of the history of the site. The harvest I regard with bad, I was hoping for something more within the day to day of vinicola restaurant, they have a few feet of the grape main building and do you cut the bunches of grapes. The rest was excellent, the breakfast is worthy of a 5 star restaurant.

  • The call is quite beautiful, especially on sunny days. The visit is well detailed, where we know the facilities of both the manufacturing process and the guard of the bottles. The wines are very good, but in the midst of so many wineries with wine also very good, this is not "a must". As the groups of visitors are great, the guided tour does not have the same "uniqueness" of other bodegas as Andeluna and the Guide to each visitor is a minor. As we are not fluent in Spanish, I lost a lot

  • Fantastic knowledgeable and personalized hospitality manager. Fun competition of blending our own Merlot malbec and Cabernet. Wonderful experience in gorgeous setting
  • Great place to visit and to learn about a history of this one of the oldest wineries in Mendoza which belongs to Svarovski family and tasting of their fine Malbec wine. They have vast cellar filled with thousands of bottles of wine and views of white peaks of andes from the garden are simply magnificent.
  • Good place for a short visit
  • I fell in love with my Mendocina wife and this province still conquers me with its many delights
