  • During our stay in Lujan de Cuyo (Mendoza) we are by the hotel owner referred to Bodega Lagarde. We knew that we would enjoy a lunch there, but were not aware of the size and price. The hotel owner was under the assumption that there would be a choice from different types of menus (6-course, but also less if desired). Upon arrival it became apparent that there was no choice and that we had to go for the 6-course menu. In previous reviews is spoken of a tour that is offered jointly with the lunch. We have never gotten and we think that is a pity in retrospect. The estate is beautifully, there we would like more of. We found a neatly laid table under a beautiful blackberries tree right next to the vineyards. Striking was that the whole terrace was full, even in the low season. The lady who referred us to the place, as well as the sommelier, spoke very good English. The waiter was excited, but was it English not yet so powerful. He did however enormous its best! The dishes were high quality. By the modest portions is you don't fill up quickly. Although the rib-eye, surely, 300gr was. The matching wines (5 different kinds, 6 pieces) carried the dinner on good way. But in terms of complexity and exquisite taste, we have drunk better wines. It must be said that there was no cut on the wine. All though the price for European standards considerably lower than expected, we have in 3 weeks Argentina has never eaten so expensive. All in all an unforgettable experience and definitely a must, but not suitable for people with a small fair. In addition, it would be (for that amount) really have been good if there is a Tour around the grounds included had been sitting.

  • Attendance. Sympathy. Wines ... one of the best of Mendoza. The attention of staff and willingness to indicate good wines and places worth visiting is amazing. A dream restaurant. Tasting menu is just awesome.

  • Amazing wine pairing lunch. Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. Sommelier took time to educate us about the wine and answer any questions. We had many of these kinds of experiences in Mendoza and this was probably our #2. Would definitely recommend and return. We took home a few bottles from the winery as well.
  • Lunch at Lagarde is one of the best we've had in Argentina. We've visited on 3 separate trips, and although the menu is always changing, the service and food are spot-on! Unlimited refills on wine make for a leisurely lunch with friends.
  • We did a wine tour and tasting, beautiful wines very helpful staff and great fun tasting. We didn't eat however have heard great things about the food onsite.
  • Best bodega lunch we had in Mendoza and Uco Valley - recommended!
  • An incredible lunch paired with their stellar wines!
