Laguna de los Tres, Los Glaciares National Park
(5/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Hike to Laguna de los Tres, an emerald lagoon of glacier water on a track that reveals plenty of natural sights along the way. On your way up, you'll gain excellent views of the area's granite peaks, and perhaps even some condors flying overhead (bring your binoculars). The final stretch of the increasingly steep trail will also get you sights of the lagoon itself, with glaciers hanging from the slopes that surround it. • The path of the lagoon of the three is wonderful, exhausting, especially the first 2 km and the last. There are 10 km of pure nature, between viewpoints, plains and forests, streams, butterflies and flowers. In my case I am not sporty girl in my last year but quite active was very tiring especially for my knees and the felt to the back. I recommend the hiking stick. Who wants to also can stay in one of the lagoons to the 5km. The top from which you can appreciate the other lagoons and the fitz roy is magical, magical. Really I could believe the wonder that saw my eyes. In my case sali at 12 o'clock comes around 1640 pm and return past 6 pm from the Park to the nearly 21 hs. I recommend staying more than one night at el chaltén to be able do what you choose calmly. Also by how tiring of walks.

  • After several hours of walking to reach the lagoon, in the month of may, when I finally saw her I found it frozen. Unique and magical experience.

  • For who is not entrnado, I recommend starting from the Inn of the pillar (go auto or any contracted transportation) from the Inn are 4 hours walk approx. The last km is quite impinada the rise. It is not recommended to make it rain, nevada to windy days. The view is amazing, worth the effort. The trail is very good care and signposted. There is a place for camping midway and a refuge just before the start of the last km.

  • Amazing hike. You really need to deserve the view, the last hour and 15 minutes are all steep uphill, you better be a bit in shape. Don't try it with sneakers, especially not if there is snow and ice left, until October. A stick always helps, even a wooden one young can pick up on the way. Get there and enjoy the view on Fitz Roy and the lower valley with Laguna Capri, Madre y Hija. ¡Espléndido!
  • Incredible lagoon where you can see the fitz roy! Awesome place to be!!
  • One of the best hikes I ever did. Great view! The last kilometer is difficult.
  • Really beautiful place. ..
  • Beautiful view and nature
