Hike to Laguna de los Tres, an emerald lagoon of glacier water on a track that reveals plenty of natural sights along the way. On your way up, you'll gain excellent views of the area's granite peaks, and perhaps even some condors flying overhead (bring your binoculars). The final stretch of the increasingly steep trail will also get you sights of the lagoon itself, with glaciers hanging from the slopes that surround it. • Absolutely amazingly awesome place, a must!
  • It s a must! You cannot miss it!
  • What a climb! This trek, being famous, was very popular, and the climb at the end was pretty crowded. Some of the highlights were views of Fitz Roy the whole way and a floating condor. If you run out of water, you can fill up your bottle in the streams and rivers that you'll cross - it's drinkable. Exciting stuff!
  • We were a bit unlucky with the weather the day we went up but I guess foggy is one of the ways to admire Mount Fitz Roy. With patches of packed snow/ice on the way up, the climb was not for the faint of heart and it's a tough climb even in ideal conditions. Once at the top, the sense of achievement is worth it all.
  • Wonderful view of the lake and mountains in the backdrop. Go on a clear day. I went on a cloudy day and went back the following clear day: it was worth it. Last 400 m is harder to go up but manageable
