  • From Las Leñas, we start to make travel to the beautiful valley in a small car (Clio) while in "Tourist information" we discouraged to do so in our own vehicle and recommended us to hire a company to do the excursion. We started the tour and after crossing some falls of water along the way, not very big and not difficult to cross, arrived at a point where there were many stone loose and sharp, which decided to end the tour there, I think we were not able to make 4 kms. We had high expectations for the references place but unfortunately we had is not a place prepared for anyone who wants to make the trip on their own, but that local authorities seemed that they leave the path in State of abandonment (it shows that don't pass machines to keep the road in good condition) that is exploited by some companies of tourism. Despite this, I have read that some daring have could make travel in small cars, I didn't want to risk and preferred to leave to visit as many other options one has in this wonderful country. A pity, but we will surely come back and draw us the desire to make the trip. Anyway, we enjoyed the short tour that we did. Successes for who try to make the trip by their own means and that they can make the total trip.

  • Your name says it all! not accessed all year by the subject of the snowfall. I recommend to the people of Sierra Negra for this excursion. I'd like to return to explore a little more.

  • We went in summer, 4 x 4 it is a long road and in some moments of cornice, although we observed some (high) car passed without any problem, depends on the climate and the conditions of the road, are not many kms. but I screwed up and slow make it long, there is a lookout half way, from there you can see the Lake and many return there... get down is unmatched, the combination cielo-montana - water is impressive to view, absolute peace! Horseback riding, bike, canoe, the food and attention of the excellent parador can there be! It has umbrellas and tables. Go with time!
