One of the biggest ski resorts in the Andes, Las Lenas draws winter sport enthusiasts with its powder snow and favorable weather conditions. Constructed in the 1980s, the resort offers outstanding opportunities for off-piste and extreme skiing. Novice and less experienced skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of nearly 30 runs, ranging from easy to challenging. If you visit outside of the ski season, take advantage of summer activities like hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. The ski area features several upscale hotels, a shopping center, ski equipment rental shops, coffee houses, restaurants, and nightclubs. It is rather transported, then there are stretches of gravel, another new section, and new gravel, etc. It is surprising to be so careless to being that so many tourists receives. One then learns that it's an area that was bought by a Prince of Malaysia and has no interest to exploit economically the place, so it also collaborates in the improvement of the roads. Note to Las Lenas in itself, it is very attractive, find all this infrastructure in the middle of the mountain surprises and I imagine that full season of sky must be almost a chaos of people. I went through the streets on foot, and had lunch in one of the only 2 places that was open to eat. A Milanese with mash as if were made at the House of one, very good!
Hermoso paisaje! El camino tiene una vista maravillosa. No es conveniente ir con bebés ya que las actividades que hay son limitadas y no se pueden realizar. Pero totalmente recomendable para conocer! more »Beautiful scenery! The road has a wonderful view. It is not suitable to go with babies as activities that there are limited and cannot be. But it is highly recommended to learn!
Essa estação é ótima para todos os níveis de habilidades, tem poucas pistas pretas, porem tem bastante esqui fora de pista. para quem é iniciante tem estrutura incrível também, ficamos no hotel virgo,... more »This station is great for all levels of abilities, have few clues, but black has plenty of off-piste skiing. for those who're new incredible structure also has, we stayed at the hotel virgo, which was very good, the only bad thing is the distance to get from Sam Rafael until we went to rental car, 200 km.
