Puente del Inca, Las Cuevas

(750+ reviews on the web)
Geologic Formation
See the awe-inspiring geological formation at Puente del Inca, a naturally formed bridge that spans the Vacas river. Scientists remain unsure as to how the bridge formed, but they believe it was a combination of ice forming over the river and landslides from above. Walk around the site and enjoy the view, as well as the ancient hotel built into the wall. Alongside the bridge sits a market where you can buy local handmade goods and minerals found in the area. Put Puente del Inca into our Las Cuevas itinerary maker and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Unforgettable landscape and the journey there, although long, is very picturesque. It is a pity that already not be reached until the hot springs, but anyway the place has a special charm.

  • There is nothing more than a (interesting) photo of the ruins of baths (hotel) under a natural bridge. Handicrafts - say - they are worthless and the poor - boys - live of charge you 10 pesos hot water. Better spend, pushing out the photo, and leave a tip. Let the craft. You are still driving.

  • It is a nice place. Close by, close to the road, there are several stalls to buy handicrafts. The inca bridge is very beautiful colors that exist in the place. Not be accessible to it but it looks great (there is a viewpoint from where building viewed from the front), that is a place to hang out because there is too much to do...
