Although quite abused by citizens, the Plaza Sarmiento, is a green space of about 4 hectares, about 10 blocks from the station of Lanus, on the avenida 9 de julio. It is a place with trees of eucalyptus and other species of lesser height. Day Sunday are recreational activities such as fairs, crafts and performances in the hat.

It was a cute place that used to go when it was smaller, unfortunately did not know her care. They painted it all (and evil) of white and maroon, the statue of Sarmiento this grafiteada and neglected, grass in areas already or grow in some places, and cleaning is very bad. I understand that it is mostly because of the people who are going and not care, in school times is filled with guys and in 15 birthday pull eggs, flour and garbage that then no one clean. Craftsmen fairs give you at least another color during the weekends, but that doesn't change much. Not to mention the insecure that is, but that applies to all Lanús.

Plaza de barrio. Con un pequeño monumento a Domingo F. Sarmiento. Tiene un ambiente familiar, con un arbolado variado y hasta una pequeña calesita para los mas niños. Ideal para descansar en la ciudad.
