  • Leaving Cachi towards la Poma by RN 40 before we see a poster of left hand indicating your access. You can enter up to a parking lot and leave the car there. Then you need to walk up to down to reach the river. It's the "volcanoes twins", two very young basaltic volcanic apparatuses, whose washes closed the Calchaquí River, forming a prehistoric Lake and an accumulation of carbonates that gave rise to a natural bridge accompanied by a unique cavern. The River runs hidden on the inside and from the roof and side walls hang stalactites that are forming stalagmites and in some cases gather to give rise to columns. These carbonate formations are important because they contain inside concentric rings as the trunks of trees that jealously keep the history of the climate of the last few hundred years. From there that isotopic studies of these limestone formations would make it possible to obtain data on ancient climates. Preferably go in few rainy season.

  • Devil's bridge, is an excellent place, accompanied by local guides who try to make a livelihood, totally recommended mode for tourism activity and place worth knowing, for your peace of mind, security, landscapes and especially for the warmth of its people.

  • To not repeat, contributed for travellers without car. If you think to go to Cachi, the ideal is to take the collective Ale Hnos. going to La Poma. Well organized because that comes out every day. and the worst thing is that if you go Tuesday, can again recently on Friday at 6.00 am. So if Saturday's night in La Poma, do you do the tour with Zechariah on Sunday and early Monday back in collective. Or two nights in La Poma. The same day you do the Devil's bridge guide can take you to see Inca barns. Cheap lodging there. Back can stop in Cachi to know and hence a shared remis to jump comes out the same as the collective.
