#7 of 15 in Sightseeing in La Plata
Tourist Spot Ranch / Farm
Enjoy a sense of freedom from the urban rush at Mizujo Campo Libre, a field with an authentic Japanese garden and a family-friendly array of recreational and relaxation activities. A family of Japanese immigrants set this up in the 1970s as their own private paradise; twenty years later the Mizujo family chose to open their precious space to tourism. Keep your eyes out for wildlife as you walk around the field, from a variety of songbirds and foul to authentic koi in the garden ponds. • Plenty of spaces for boys, spectacular plays a very good farm with wide etiquedada variety of poultry farm, fantastic peacocks, sheep, goats, 1 cow, variety of pigs, guanacos.llamas, etc make the joy of the kids. Also the nursery and Orchard has restaurant and delivery of meals to carry and the Park has plenty of barbecue and tables the length and width of the space. The restaurant is limited in letter and space and tables are given in strict order of registration, the N ° table s are announced by speaker. Get the office of a sandwich or Burger takeaway can claim 40 minutes and also are announced the us. by speaker. A system to improve. Another point to improve are the bathrooms, few for the number of visitors and even though cleaned every hour there are moments in which is not noticed. There is more emphasis on controlling the entry and exit to support staff within the premises which would be an additional interesting when visiting the complex. No doubt I'll be back with the family.

  • A good place to go in the family, especially with small kids, conveniently in spring days. There are nature, farm, greenhouse, some products and plants... with spaces for recreation, games and you can eat there, or take your own food or mates... Very nice and recommended... the only thing against that tends to be busy at any time of the year and it is difficult to appreciate all that is good... but... is near La Plata and capital... every now and then... come on...

  • Great place to relax and connect with nature. The nursery has a great variety of species at great prices and with the excellent attention of experts who provide advice on planting and care of plants. The grocery store has products from the Japanese community and known by all. Somewhat high prices for Japanese grapes that are delicate fried.

Where to stay in La Plata

Many of La Plata's accommodation options lie within the geometric square of the city core, which plays home to a majority of the town's tourist attractions. The variety of mid-range hotels in the city center keeps prices reasonably low; many of these are located in historic buildings just a few blocks from central Plaza Morena and within easy walking distance to the museum of La Plata, the cathedral, and main road arteries. If you're on a tight budget, consider staying at one of the city center's many hostels; though you'll likely be sharing a room with others in bunk beds, the low prices make them economical options.
