(4.2/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Visit the picturesque Cascada de Olaen to swim in its spacious lagoon. Take a drive from La Falda along a 20 km (12.4 mile) gravel road to reach the secluded waterfall. Climb down from the parking area, but watch your step, especially if you visit after a heavy rain. Relax by the waterfall's basin, listening to the steadily rushing cascade. Don't forget to bring swimwear to cool off in the chilly water, and pack a few snacks for a picnic near the pristine falls. • Away from the city, is one of the most beautiful places and peaceful. Perfect waterfall, a huge pot of water. Care, which not know swimming not should put is because is very deep and not always there is lifeguard. So bad: the bathroom is far from the area of waterfall... you have to climb much to get and is one. The rest, without complaints.

  • The road to the waterfall is of gravel, passable for an auto. As all gravel presents some places to go with more care and patience. The journey presents a unique landscape, a value of input by auto charge. There is no service. It is to load the cooler with food and drinks. Moves throughout the day. The cascade ends in a large pool with stones around that allow you to enjoy clean water. The place presents a challenge found in form strategic a space to have shadow or Sun according to choose. Not is very busy as other destinations since the excursions van after the 16 hs.

  • It is beautiful. I have to pay $100 for parking (summer 2016 / 2017). He is to spend the day. Bring plenty of water and a hat. Access is not for people with reduced mobility.
