(4.2/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Visit the picturesque Cascada de Olaen to swim in its spacious lagoon. Take a drive from La Falda along a 20 km (12.4 mile) gravel road to reach the secluded waterfall. Climb down from the parking area, but watch your step, especially if you visit after a heavy rain. Relax by the waterfall's basin, listening to the steadily rushing cascade. Don't forget to bring swimwear to cool off in the chilly water, and pack a few snacks for a picnic near the pristine falls. • A beautiful waterfall with a pot of water at the end, to jump between the stones of the serrano River. You should go early, since it is 20 km by road, that may be in poor condition and is a bit slow. It should bring supplies, as there is in place a small source. They charge a parking lot about 30 or 50 pesos, but as the place is very clean and little exploited (that is very good for the nature lovers)

  • I went with my wife and although there are approximately 40 minutes of gravel, it is a beautiful and easy access and fully signposted. With only configure the gps or cell phone, it is easy. The entrance to the place is private and is worth $100 x auto, but the place is public, and is a beautiful natural gully to enjoy. The waterfalls are easily accessible and you can swim in them. Always with their respective care and responsibility since there are no lifeguards or any security. It is a must-see for lovers of nature.

  • If you go by car it is advisable to go in the truck, we were in mountain biking, is a journey of approximately 21 kilometers from the skirt with many ups and downs and dirt road. Perfect for a hot day go and bathe in the place. In addition there is a place to buy supplies, but when we was closed, safe open in high season. The waterfall is beautiful Petronas.

  • It is beautiful. I have to pay $100 for parking (summer 2016 / 2017). He is to spend the day. Bring plenty of water and a hat. Access is not for people with reduced mobility.
