Cristo Redentor, La Cumbre, La Cumbre

#3 of 12 in Things to do in La Cumbre
Don’t miss the impressive Cristo Redentor, La Cumbre, Cordoba’s very own replica of the famed Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro. While the original statue dwarfs this one, Cordoba’s Christ the Redeemer stands at an impressive 8 m (26 ft) and was built in 1954 by Argentine-Italian architect Luis Ramaciotti. The monumental structure, which sits at the top of a mount offering sweeping views over La Cumbre, can be seen from far away as you approach via the trail. Stock up on refreshments at the foot of the monument. • The Christ the Redeemer is a picture of 9 meters high, made by the sculptor Luis Ramacciotti Cordoba Summit. It was built in 1954. A well-marked path allows you to reach the sculpture of Christ in 30 or 40 minutes. Holy week is a circuit and place of interest to visit in the Summit many faithful gather to visit and pray.

  • Climb by winding ascent trail about 600 meters approx., but well worth the effort for the panoramic views to appreciate. Go with proper footwear

It is not to be missed!. Moreover, the view of the city of La Cumbre, from that height it is wonderful! A walk of faith so you don't forget...

  • Place classic visit, on this occasion I noticed some improvements in the path of ascent, the Christ has broken head long and not repaired it, a penalty, can be seen from the back. The Church of the Franciscans which is across the street, at the base is the picturesque
