Cristo Redentor, La Cumbre
(3.7/5 based on 160 reviews on the web)
Don’t miss the impressive Cristo Redentor, Cordoba’s very own replica of the famed Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro. While the original statue dwarfs this one, Cordoba’s Christ the Redeemer stands at an impressive 8 m (26 ft) and was built in 1954 by Argentine-Italian architect Luis Ramaciotti. The monumental structure, which sits at the top of a mount offering sweeping views over La Cumbre, can be seen from far away as you approach via the trail. Stock up on refreshments at the foot of the monument. To visit Cristo Redentor on your trip to La Cumbre, use our La Cumbre holiday planner.

  • Being at the Summit is a good option to go out and explore the place and appreciate a great panoramic view of the city. It can be combined with a walk to the dam san Jerónimo a path of starts behind the Christ.
