Cristo Redentor, La Cumbre

(3.7/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Don’t miss the impressive Cristo Redentor, Cordoba’s very own replica of the famed Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro. While the original statue dwarfs this one, Cordoba’s Christ the Redeemer stands at an impressive 8 m (26 ft) and was built in 1954 by Argentine-Italian architect Luis Ramaciotti. The monumental structure, which sits at the top of a mount offering sweeping views over La Cumbre, can be seen from far away as you approach via the trail. Stock up on refreshments at the foot of the monument. To visit Cristo Redentor on your trip to La Cumbre, use our La Cumbre holiday planner.

  • Christ the Redeemer is located in the town of La Cumbre, in the Valley of Punilla, it is very satisfying to ascend to him, you will discover landscapes and unique sensations. It is an image located on the Hill Viarapa and end of the Via Crucis that has measures which are amounts are displayed. It is a path that leads to the sculpture in 30 minutes, from where you can see a beautiful panorama of the Summit.

  • A beautiful place to go to meet. It is perfect for taking pictures from the height, all the people you see. The ascent is a bit exhausting but worth it!
