Mirador de la Cruz, Iruya

A climb to the top of Mirador de la Cruz rewards you with expansive views and photo opportunities of the city of Iruya and the surrounding mountain rage. Take some shots of the winding city streets below. Take the time to view the strait of Magellan, as well as Tierra del Fuego, in the distance. Be sure to bring a light jacket--winds at the top can lower the temperature noticeably. You can plan Iruya trip in no time by asking Inspirock to help create your itinerary.

  • Peace feels, and you can see all Iruya. The truth is a different experience, from which family were used. I advise no more than two days there if you are very restless.

  • The viewpoint of the cross provides an excellent view of the entire city of Iruya and left a full view of the impressive Gorge. It is tiring to arrive (15 minutes) since you have to climb very steep streets. The weak point is a container of cell phone that is behind the viewpoint that it ruins the beautiful surrounding landscape.

  • Viewpoint very accessible walking (very close to the Centre of the village, 100 m from the Hotel Iruya), with an excellent view of the town and the surrounding landscape.
