Mirador de la Cruz, Iruya

(4.7/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
A climb to the top of Mirador de la Cruz rewards you with expansive views and photo opportunities of the city of Iruya and the surrounding mountain rage. Take some shots of the winding city streets below. Take the time to view the strait of Magellan, as well as Tierra del Fuego, in the distance. Be sure to bring a light jacket--winds at the top can lower the temperature noticeably. Put Mirador de la Cruz and other Iruya attractions into our Iruya travel itinerary planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

TripAdvisor
  • is probably unique. From up here, you have the Eagle's nest views over the entire Valley of Iruya. Thus one has probably also selected this place to make various antennas.

  • If you're in Iruya, is a must-see. The viewpoint is not far from the Centre, you can walk without any problem. The view from here is amazing.

  • all missed!... the journey to get there from route national 9 is a wonder of nature!... you feel suspended in the air, cut you the breath because you can not believe the beauty of the landscape.
