Catedral San Jose, Gualeguaychu

#2 of 12 in Things to do in Gualeguaychu
In addition to photogenic architecture, Catedral San Jose is also known for containing an organ with no less than 2,200 pipes. Look at the clock towers and notice that one of them is missing its clock, then step inside to view marble pillars running on both sides of the nave and supporting a dome-shaped roof. Wooden pews lead to the altar, from which the parish priest holds regular services. Maintenance arrangements are needed. Ceilings that pieces of masonry missing. Surely there's leaks in the roofs.

It is a wonderful architectural. But completely abandoned. It could be awesome. But it leaves a bitter taste, by neglect and carelessness of the building.

By luck were making parts. The last time I saw her was quite left. With posters, photos of the parts and the history. Is clearly a temple historic. Across from the Plaza San Martin, which is always nice and neat. There are that go!
