Bubalcó, General Roca

4.5
#1 of 6 in Things to do in General Roca
At Bubalcó, you'll observe species native to the Patagonian coast, such as guanaco and llama, in their natural habitat of native willows, pampas grass, and yellow flowers of evergreen shrubs. Walk across a typical local farm, along with ponies, sheep, lemurs, and the large flightless birds known as Darwin's rhea. The central square features a park with a children's playground and a bar, which offers refreshments and a menu of local dishes. Enclosed spaces blending with the natural environment hold large wildcats, monkeys, and a variety of colorful parrots. Other residents include baby tigers, orange flamingos, black swans, as well as snakes and other reptiles slithering around the tropical house. for all the tourists who pass through the Tinajas of Rio Negro, impossible not to go to see it. It is a great work for our Patagonia.

It is amazing that in the Patagonian latitude we find a zoo that has big cats in much warmer climates in excellent condition, as well as a large aviary with an impressive variety of birds, especially macaws who even manage to reproduce. There are certainly examples of local wildlife. We see that they have very good treatment and are not crowded as it usually happens in traditional zoos. Recommended visit for young and old.

A natural park with animals. Modern in concept of integrating them with nature and the environment, an environment very pleasant, gentle, ideal for family or friends on a ride that is unique in the region.

I am really happy that I visited zoo today back on Saturday, April 22, 2017! It was highly recommended and it was also listed on the tourist map all the way from Neuquen Capital City of Argentina. This zoo is fairly new and has been open for the past seven (7) years. I also think that the selection of animals are very nice to see as you can see in the pictures that I have provided on Google. I also want to personally thank Andrea Soriano for providing me with a Fantastic Tour and for allowing me to feed Rosalie the Parrot. If you are ever in the area of Rio Negro, Argentina then please come and visit the Bubalco Zoo because it is well worth it. Sincerely yours, Howard Paul Shore...
