  • The cabin is perfect, impeccable, mattresses with box springs that you can put together and have two double or separate rooms ideal for families with children. Very good heating and excellent water flow in the shower, well equipped and silent. White clothes of very good quality and all the necessary elements for cooking. It is also best to use Spa facilities that are excellent, free of charge. The attention of Mayra and Luis is wonderful, always attentive with smile and willing to make the stay in El Chaltén is unforgettable. Separate data is this far from the electric generator of the town so it is very silent, only birds are heard! Totally recommended. • Rain and wind on El Chalten! At 5 pm, I tell myself that I did nothing in my day and so I go to the SPA to relax me hospitality is great! I paid the equivalent of 20 euros for 15 minutes of Jacuzzi and 20 minutes of Sauna (I have to negotiate for that because normally they are two different things) which is great, is that they provide a bathrobe, a towel, a "tap dance", drinks, a fresh masks for the jacuzzi! The atmosphere is very cliché of the lounges: background music, and beautiful images on TV in any case, very nice for a day where he is not nice to El Chalten

  • This spa is a marvel. The two masseuses are extra ordinary kind. Nothing like a small massage after the long hikes d el chalten. A home with a lemon green tea. The massages are very good, the view of the stunning jacuzzi... I highly recommend this spa.

Where to stay in El Chalten

Thanks to the city's small size, almost all of the accommodation options in El Chalten are within easy walking distance of anything of note in town. Most "hotels" are in fact cozy alpine-style lodges catering to international visitors, and tend to be on the pricier side due to their upscale amenities. Alternatively, you can stay in one of the many campsites outside town, though weather here can be harsh. During the high season in January and February, you'll need to book at least a month or two in advance as lodging fills up fast. Keep in mind that El Chalten depends heavily on seasonal tourism for its income, and many hotels and lodges, particularly smaller, family-run affairs, close down during the winter off-season. On the flip side, many of those that remain open offer lower winter rates.
