  • Although the walk is demanding and traverses to different places such as forests, rivers, etc and climb the Hill of approximately 1500 meters, where the last journey is steep more wind playing against, but all that is highly compensated by the panoramic view taken from the Summit

  • I've finished my adjectives to describe the wonders of trekking routes in El Chalten and the Los Glaciares Park, then I resign myself to myself in the titles. With the exception of two classics: Los Tres and Lagoon Tower, all other trails in the Park are rarely visited and that is why we appreciate the spirit of Patagonia. The views of the mountains, glaciers and Lakes of all these "alternative" locations have nothing to envy to the two most popular and then spend more time to El Chalten is almost a duty. Needless to say how enormously different visual interest in running and live these paths during an overcast day in contrast to one of glorious sunshine. The path starts from the base of the rangers of the appointing authority (Administraci√≥n de Parques Nacionales) just outside of El Chalten, crossing the bridge over the Rio Fitz Roy. and it's quite challenging, not so much for the length but because it is a continuous and uninterrupted, thankfully, with the exception of the final section, the climb isn't especially pronounced. In total, the walk is approximately 18 km with a vertical drop of 900mt. up to the Mirador de La Loma. If you are having trouble, you can go to the top, with a fairly challenging climb of 300 meters in less than one km. The views from the Mirador Pliegue Tumbado since both are indescribable and unique Loma del really.
