  • After a walk through the mountain of 10 km you reach Lake tower with the glacier pieces detached in the Lake. Vale encouraged a dip into the frozen water! It is the best! Very nice road... with the stream on the side of the trail. You can take water from the river. If you give the Sun it gets very hot, wear sunscreen and a hat.

  • This trek is easier than Fitz Roy trek, unlike Fitz Roy we did not feel that the viewpoint Mirador del Torre was showing the full potential of the mountains, even though it is beautiful. We recommend ...  more »
  • This is definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Less strenuous than many of the "hard" hikes in US national parks. There was not much to see along the way, but the view at the end was well worth...  more »

  • Amazing place, one required rides of any visit to el Chalten. It is a breathtaking beauty and justified, by far, the long (and beautiful) hike, which is required to get to see it.
