  • We are a marriage of fifty and pico. We made the 3 Lagoon from the pillar (transport Las Lengas takes you) fortunately only the day was partly cloudy and no wind. Tip: wear sneakers for hiking (with "taponcitos"), dressing "onion", some pilotin case, sunglasses, carrying only a bottle to drink (incredibly fresh and pure water on the road is collected) and trekking pole. The path from pillar is very quiet (flat) up to Poincenot, going through a beautiful forest of lengas. They are two hours and peak hike. Shortly after there crosses the White River and starts the real challenge: the final climb. It is a time of steady climb. Only the very trained legs endure well, but with a normal physical condition you get. The first 15 minutes of ascent are you legs. Later, the brain. It is a matter of will. If you want to. you get. The view of L3, with clear weather, is simply sublime. What your eyes see seems loaded, cannot be real. You do get a photo with a cheap cell phone and get a postcard. It's amazing. One more effort and you're going to dirty Laguna... with a hypnotic blue color. And then comes the return. Not delude itself: what was tiring and laborious climbing is also going down, only working other muscles and also you're tired is not easy to get. You'll love your hiking stick and a good sole claiming in the loose stone. If you don't have them, you are going to suffer and to envy those who have them. But all fall. The descent, you pass by Capri, which seems little thing beside what you saw above. And after less than 4 hours of March arrive to el Chalten, exhausted but with a smile from ear to ear for the unforgettable experience. L3 is not "something to do in el Chalten": is what there is to do in el Chaltén. You're going for that. If you didn't, you were not.

  • He was one of the highlights of the trip. We did a trekking of 9 hours (round trip) to see the majestic Fitzroy close. Was a pretty walk alongside streams, vegetation of the region, well signposted trails and endo the mountain always watching us, because the day was wonderful, blessed! We start our trekking by Office pillar that is very beautiful, a beautiful place that has the river running with the waters of the glacier, with its stones, and the Fitz Roy in the background. Very good track and you see the mountain all the time. Now after Poincenot camp co, the base of the mountain, missing 1 km, then lose. You will climb a mountain literally, with a whole trail of irregular stone, that the degree of difficulty is 4. Takes 1 hour to climb, it took us 1 hour and a half, but it's worth it! When you are faced with the Fitz Roy in your face, it feels indescribable, the glacier, the Turquoise Blue Lake, is to save the soul. Is majestic, magnificent, ..., don't miss this trekking!. Keep covered with clothing, appropriate shoe, camera, a staff, or that pausinho to help you on the rocks, get a snack or play at the hotel to prepare, water and lots of joy!,.

  • There are more than 10 km walk. The last km are super difficult. But, when you get there, to the top, forget everything that happened. Los Tres Lagoon is blue turquoise, at the foot of the Fitz Roy. Amazing! The view from the Gazebo Fitz Roy is also wonderful.
