  • Cute Museum in the main city of Calafate avenidad; they have toys for many decades, but makes special emphasis on the end of the 40s and 50s, during the first Peronist presidencies. There are several plaster figures representing scenes, school books, clothes, etc. a little expensive input, but it does not escape the average price of this city.

  • The Museum is very cute and care as well as every toy and product. Particularly what most caught my attention were bottles and other products not so toys since they do not belong to the range of my childhood years (perhaps to my parents or grandparents les daria mas nostalgia). The input we got 150 each (relatively normal price for everything that we were spending in calafate).

  • If you're in Calafate and want to surprise you with a different museum you can not let go. It is a walk for children. Before toys, a journey that takes you several smiles and gives you hints of youth. Books, advertisements, toys, discs, sweets, a walk so picturesque as stale. With a maintenance that astonishes, first level, and large amounts of resources. Don't go. If you're Argentinian a tear is going to piantar memory-flavored.

Where to stay in El Calafate

El Calafate offers abundant lodgings, from budget-friendly guesthouses to four-star hotels. Top beds sell out well before the peak season (October to April, and especially December to February), so it's a good idea to reserve in advance if you plan to visit during that time. Spontaneous travelers without prior arrangements can look for youth hostels, many of which are located just outside of town. To stay in comfort without burning a hole in your wallet, consider vacationing here during the low season, when most hotels offer deep discounts.
