Museo Argentino del Juguete, El Calafate

(2/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Come to Museo Argentino del Juguete to revisit memories from the past and to celebrate one's childhood. The museum features countless toys lining the walls and display cases emanating history, all a plethora of bright colors. See more than 14,000 toys from around the world and 10,000 from Argentina alone, all neatly arranged side by side. The collection features an eclectic mix of new and old, some dating as far back as 1900. The museum does not limit itself to toys but exhibits anything to do with childhood culture. • It is good to visit with children. Toys of the 20th century and many parts of the world can be seen on this ride. Also there is a section dedicated and Eva Peron where is can see letters and some effects personal of her. Children do not pay entrance and older pay $150

  • It adelantare my opinion with a single word: excellent. This museum, that not has absolutely nothing that see with the glacier Perito Moreno, was for my some of the best museums that visit until now in my beloved country: Argentina. Perhaps some can criticize the "Museum" technique, exhibits, your order of exposure or even including the price of general admission. Consider that such aspects are inconsequential trivia from who them formulated, compared with the beautiful intimate experience that produces go this site to who us raised in Argentina and have at least some 30 years of age. During the tour, it is impossible to not get excited or not return to remember part of our childhood, given that the exhibits manage to touch our innermost fiber: not only because we find ourselves with the toys that we use when we were kids, but because it also allows toys which played our parents and grandparents. The Museum transports the Viewer to a longed and emotional trip to the past: is not just toys, also has items (cameras of photos, pictures, bottles, boxes of cookies, posters, posters of movies, books, school supplies, knobs of paint, thermometers, old radio devices, and many other products of daily use) making all past tense would be better and you want to be there. In fact in the same Museum admission, exposed an age-old apparatus with dolls "robots" that still works and really excited to see it (the music lacks only). To 22/02/2017, the general admission price is ar $150, which can be paid in cash or with cards of debit or credit: the price is more than reasonable, therefore considering the general level of prices that exists in El Calafate... and more even in high season. Although in principle it may not seem it, the Museum has a significant size, so we were at the Museum about 2 hours, that is we went flying (except for the pain in legs and feet being so long standing), and could shoot without flash much. The attention of the girl responsible for reception was very gentle and friendly. Separate paragraph deserves Evita's Museum: is that simply for those who admire the figure of this great Argentine woman, the presentation of photos, objects and original documents there exposed are excited to tears. On leaving, one truly wants to take something that reminds you the pleasant experience lived there: the souvenir shop prices are reasonable. Congratulations to the Director of the Museum and of heart thank to its owner have since to provision of the public the excellent collection of objects there exposed. Why can't more to recommend this double Museum (unique in its kind in Argentina), because no doubt stop in the visitor a sweet longing of the Argentine past.

  • Unmissable choice for a different time. There is an impressive amount of toys from all the world. Also have blades of movies, old photos, 1 room recreates the classrooms. Lots of books. There are things in storage, hygiene, there are cards of birthday, cameras, etc. The entrance is not expensive and I loved the truth
