  • We made the Discovery Tour, which includes the navigation up to the stay, approaching icebergs that break off of the Upsala glacier. Impressive. To get to stay, taking you to the glacier lookout in 4 x 4. The view from the glacier, the combinations of colors with the Lake, the mountains and the sky are breathtaking. Massive nature, the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Then you can eat in the room (there menu or food that your take) and in the afternoon a visit to the Museum make you and explain the history of the stay. The spectacular, really perfect organization. Very nice day, worth much. You will remember it

  • The estancia has a great history but the process of Upsala Glacier and the ranch were a little touristy for my liking. Food provided good (probably too much ) service ok. My biggest beef was with the ...  more »

  • This is a really nice trip. There are several options for activity once you are at the ranch. The lunch was tasty and service efficient. The boat trip gets a view of the face of the Upsala Glacier and many icebergs calving from the glacier. Upon landing at the ranch, the group is devided into subgroups depending on which activity you chose. The staff and crew are very helpful and efficient. Tours are offered in Spanish or English but many of the guides speak other languages as well. I chose the Discovery option which includes a 4x4 drive up the mountain and a hike to an overlook where a large section of the icefield and glaciers are dramatically displayed. The views are stunning and unlike anything I've ever seen. The guides explain a bit about the glaciers and the Southern Icefield, which is the 3rd largest in the world. Whichever option you choose, this a trip not to be missed.
  • ON MARCH 18 WITH A FRIEND TRAVEL AGENT HIRED THE EXCURSION FOR THE STAY .IN MY OPINION WAS A LACK OF RESPECT AND CONSIDERATION NOT INFORMING PEOPLE THAT BECAUSE OF HIGH WINDS THE WERE GOING TO PASS VERY EVIL. THE CAPTAIN DECIDED TO RETURN TO PUNTA FLAG AFTER AN HOUR OF BROWSING. THE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE... PASSENGERS WERE VERY ANGRY TO POOR CARE PEOPLE DESERVE TO CHOOSE (IT IS NOT A PLEASURE TRIP) PLEASE NOTIFY TOURISM AS IT WILL MAKE THE TRIP... NOT TO MINIMIZE THE PROBLEM. Thank you

  • An amazing place. The guides are more than height. Beware of tours that hire. If it is cloudy or raining makes no sense because there is nothing to pay them.

  • The marked site corresponds to the agency that organizes this wonderful trip. The excursion you can hire it there or at other agencies from El Calafate, but it is preferable to hire her directly in this agency. There is a navigation which starts in port flags with a cordiality of the staff that is remarkable. Then visit the lago Argentino by the channel Hupsalla is to stay where the attention is wonderful, with three opsiones of activities and then food, opsional, face, traveled to the stay and return. All very good
