  • Ascent to Cerro Piltriquitron must be done preferably in spring / summer, given that this snow in autumn/winter, there are many streets with buildings, houses, in different heights. Arriving at the parking lot, you leave the car and continue on foot and reach carved forest, beautiful place. I recommend gloves, coat, backpack and walking. Average/high difficulty

  • You don't have to be an athlete but requires physical exertion, so q warning! Leave early, take water to climb (to refuel in refuge), food (they sell something in the refuge but is expensive) hat, sunscreen and light clothing. Ideal leaving early, spend in the Woods tallado, pass the refuge, enjoying the peaceful landscape and I mpressionante. Don't forget to take your garbage back! And for those who will drive to the platform does not leave anything in the car.

  • Really worth a visit it. Landscapes or approach to what you see in the photos. Climb 1500 meters to the refuge, camping and making Summit was very good experience to start. I hope come back and in better physical shape to enjoy more the road. Share a community bonfire and some mates to fight the cold. There sleeping in a tent. Recommended!
