  • The society of Jesus Church is a beautiful church located a few blocks from the town center and a few blocks from the Cathedral. It is great inner beauty, and also impressed by the huge exterior stone walls.

  • The Church of the company of Jesus is part of the Manzana Jesuítica, declared world heritage by the Unesco in the year 2000. In 1640 the order of the Jesuit fathers built it, being the oldest temple in the Argentina and considered a unique example of colonial architecture. Its volumes are of elementary geometry, high-purity. The austerity of the façade contrasts with the rich ornamentation of the interior, built in the form of a Latin cross. Elements to highlight: * 1.20 m wide stone walls, * the vault in the form of inverted keel of a 10 m wide, * the altarpiece, "* the pulpit with the technique, gold leaf, * acoustics, among others." You'll marvel know it!

  • The Church of the company of Jesus is located in the city of Córdoba Capital, at the intersection of Bishop Trejo and home streets, forming part of the Manzana Jesuítica, declared world heritage by the Unesco in the year 2000. In the year 1599 the Jesuit fathers established themselves in Córdoba and from 1606 began the construction works that would give shape to the current Jesuit block. The construction of this impressive temple was possible thanks to the donation of land by Don Manuel Cabrera, grandson of the founder of the town Don Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera, result of a promise made during a trip to Rome.

  • Its architecture is beautiful! To be able to go inside and outside this church is highly recommended to get to know a little of the history of the Jesuits in Córdoba.
