Swing by Plaza San Martin to get a taste of one of the city's liveliest public spaces. Originally constructed in 1577, the plaza features wide pathways and manicured green areas topped off with lush local foliage. Grab a park bench and watch the crowds stroll by, or check out the street performers and other activities that tend to crop up here. Alternatively, explore the plaza's surroundings by visiting the nearby cathedral and restored town hall, featuring an arched white facade. Don't miss getting an up-close look at the bronze statue in the center of the plaza, dedicated to independence war hero General Jose de San Martin. • It is the main square of the city and is surrounded by the Cathedral of Cordoba and the cabildo. Inside the town hall you can taste you or coffee. Very picturesque. Beware of the banks of the Plaza because there are many pigeons who leave their gifts (dirty).

  • The place is very different, because it merges the modern with the old architecture, which is expressed mostly in its churches.

  • Tipical southamerican square. Beautifully renewed.
  • Muchos pokemons
  • Nice big plaza, clean, lots of people, great street musicians.
  • Full of pidgeons. I would like it more if it was more clean. The cathedral it's nice though.
  • Busy Plaza which is surrounded by pedestrian walks and many shops. Some architecturally and historically interesting buildings surround the Plaza and pedestrian walks.
