Plaza San Martin, Cordoba
(3.5/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Swing by Plaza San Martin to get a taste of one of the city's liveliest public spaces. Originally constructed in 1577, the plaza features wide pathways and manicured green areas topped off with lush local foliage. Grab a park bench and watch the crowds stroll by, or check out the street performers and other activities that tend to crop up here. Alternatively, explore the plaza's surroundings by visiting the nearby cathedral and restored town hall, featuring an arched white facade. Don't miss getting an up-close look at the bronze statue in the center of the plaza, dedicated to independence war hero General Jose de San Martin. • always is full of people walking from one side to the other, it is best to go through the side streets that get into the environment that sometimes there are people sleeping in these banks. I recommend turning the Apple and then get through the passage santa catalina to the square on the other side, it is beautiful that street.

  • It is the central square. It has a fair to one side, an imposing monument in the Center and nice benches to sit. It is a place of heavy traffic which tends to be very crowded. In one of its sides are the Cathedral and the Cabildo of Córdoba.

  • It is the city's main square, from there you can appreciate the Cabildo (where entering there is a tourist office), also the Cathedral, and is starting point for different tourist tours.
