Plaza San Martin, Cordoba
(3.5/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Swing by Plaza San Martin to get a taste of one of the city's liveliest public spaces. Originally constructed in 1577, the plaza features wide pathways and manicured green areas topped off with lush local foliage. Grab a park bench and watch the crowds stroll by, or check out the street performers and other activities that tend to crop up here. Alternatively, explore the plaza's surroundings by visiting the nearby cathedral and restored town hall, featuring an arched white facade. Don't miss getting an up-close look at the bronze statue in the center of the plaza, dedicated to independence war hero General Jose de San Martin.
