Museo Palacio Ferreyra, Cordoba

Housed in the stately Ferreyra Palace, Museo Palacio Ferreyra is worth a visit to see both the architecture and the exhibits held within. The building, a Beaux-arts mansion designed by architect Ernest Sanson from France, was built between 1912 and 1916 as a private residence for a wealthy local doctor, Dr. Ferreyra. In 2005, the government bought the mansion and began renovations to create the museum. Across 12 exhibit halls, the museum displays more than 500 works of art, including pieces by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Francisco Goya, and Gustave Courbet. While admiring the artwork, also take time to appreciate the fine mosaic floors of the palace as you stroll along. You may also find described under the English name Evita Fine Arts Museum. The Ferreyra Palace "Museo Evita" in one of the most beautiful places of Cordoba, has a large collection of works of art, a very nice coffee, but the most beautiful is the building itself, I recommend you to visit it.

The Ferreyra always reminds me of the British series. It is unique, stately (but not rumboso) and an icon of Nueva Cordoba! good curatorship and impeccable collection, gardens that accompany the Dionisi,... opposite it is worth crossing the Avenue! Very beautiful works of paintings and some sculptures are exhibited in this Museum, as well as the majestic architecture. An ideal place to visit and share with friends a few hours. Sometimes there are special exhibitions, as well as those belonging to the Museum. The Park is also a short walk, you can attend the Park to relax, read, chat with friends, in a quiet and guarded. The use of the Park is free.
