Specialty Museum
Housed in the stately Ferreyra Palace, Museo Palacio Ferreyra is worth a visit to see both the architecture and the exhibits held within. The building, a Beaux-arts mansion designed by architect Ernest Sanson from France, was built between 1912 and 1916 as a private residence for a wealthy local doctor, Dr. Ferreyra. In 2005, the government bought the mansion and began renovations to create the museum. Across 12 exhibit halls, the museum displays more than 500 works of art, including pieces by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Francisco Goya, and Gustave Courbet. While admiring the artwork, also take time to appreciate the fine mosaic floors of the palace as you stroll along. You may also find described under the English name Evita Fine Arts Museum. • This Palace located in the heart of the city of Córdoba, just does not stand out art gallery, but much more its halls and staircases that seem taken from a film set! A place that makes you relive a glorious time of the city and where one can make an exercise of imagination and be dancing or walking through its halls and galleries as a character of high society at time. Where can you enjoy a drink on their balconies or tea as a noble English! Super recommended!

  • The Ferreyra Palace Museum is also called Palace avoids. He belonged to a family of rank and was expropriated to be turned into a museum. As rooms were joined to make the rooms of the Museum, perhaps not can see the number of rooms that had this property, but if you pay attention can distinguish the different spaces. The guides of the place make a detailed inflrme of as it was the property. This placed very close to the Paseo del Buen Pastor, the Caraffa Museum and Museum Dionisi. In front of the Plaza Spain. A very nice area of the city. It can be walked from the centro(es subida, recomiendo subir por por Av Irigoyen o por Bv Chacabuco). The Palace has a large, beautiful garden and night this illuminated giving the sector a different aspect. Inside the Palace there is a bar where one can enjoy a rich coffee in the terrace looking at the green in the Centre. There are always signs of artists, from paintings and has a permanent collection. Wednesdays entry free as in all the museums in Cordoba. As there are several museums together can take a day, visit them and have lunch or snack in the sector (Barrio Nva Cba has beautiful places).
