Iglesia de Los Capuchinos, Cordoba
(4.8/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Stop and take a second look at Iglesia de Los Capuchinos to convince your eyes you're not just seeing things--the twin-spired church is, in fact, missing its left spire. What might seem like an unfinished job actually represents the death of the body, while the completed right spire depicts the soul's ascension to heaven. Step inside to absorb the dazzling blue ceiling and appreciate the church's renowned paintings and striped columns. Although it seems much older, the Franciscan church was only completed in 1936. • Despite the outside of the building, reformed I observed their ancient and architectural traits. Very pretty! In addition to conveying a great peace.

  • Missed inside and out, its details are very cute, though maintenance is missing inside to highlight them.

  • Very impressive to have a look in the Capuchin church! We saw a service at 21 o'clock this Sunday and there was beautiful music and good atmosphere!
  • Amazing church! Colors and design. I've been to many all over the world and this is one of my all time favorite. Don't forget to take the stairs all the way up to see the top section.
  • A Gothic architectural style...

  • You don't have to be religious to appreciate the stunning architecture of this church. Located in the barrio Nueva Córdoba, of neo-Gothic style, designed by the architect Augusto Ferrari, was finished in the year 1934. Is it known locally as the Church of the Capuchins. Really it is worth visiting it.
