Iglesia de Los Capuchinos, Cordoba

Stop and take a second look at Iglesia de Los Capuchinos to convince your eyes you're not just seeing things--the twin-spired church is, in fact, missing its left spire. What might seem like an unfinished job actually represents the death of the body, while the completed right spire depicts the soul's ascension to heaven. Step inside to absorb the dazzling blue ceiling and appreciate the church's renowned paintings and striped columns. Although it seems much older, the Franciscan church was only completed in 1936. • It is rather amazing, from its architecture to its history, if they can do the guided tour, no waste. You carry in church and you know all your nooks and crannies and you can see the city from 40 meters in height. It is impressive.

  • Amazing church! Colors and design. I've been to many all over the world and this is one of my all time favorite. Don't forget to take the stairs all the way up to see the top section.

  • Its architecture is stunning both inside and out. It is very, very beautiful. You stay to just watching it. The best thing to do is to climb the ladder that is on the right side of the altar to the image of Mary that is high, also the ladder takes you to a room with an incredible for a moment of prayer acoustic. And it allows you to see the Church from above.
