  • It's beautiful, I found it walking around Cordoba road to the Plaza San Martin and decided to enter. I was amazed by how well preserved the delicate thing which is. Once you enter, not only produces a huge surprise by the eye-catching thing is but by the peace transmitted. Don't forget to visit it because it is a great experience; imagine that it is a building dating back to 1690 and is whole and available to all those who want to be surprised visiting her.

  • from the North, this basilica was built in the year 1639, its style is that of the Baroque revival, blanket inside to the Virgin of the Rosary of the miracle, patron saint of the Arquidiocesis.la Virgen de la Merced was declared, General of the army. General Belgrano invoke his protection and triumph against the realistic forces from the battle of Tucumán, on 24 September 1812, which is why you offered to the Virgin de la Merced his cane. Also has in its interior beautiful images, and all its decoration is very interesting to admire it, is a beautiful tour since is is within it Apple Jesuitica. For this reason the day 24 September at 10 am. touch the band of army, where one can witness the entire show, which is very nice and exciting, with guides you can admire much more throughout the tour of this Basilica. This same Act is also celebrated in the province of Tucumán, and hence there are many donations of that era. And it is in the heart of San Miguel de Tucumán.Espero that can go to that event which is very nice, and you like this small but great comment of a Basilica that has a beautiful history.

  • The Basilica de la Merced was built between 1807 and 1826 on the ruins of an old chapel. It was remodeled in 1878. From the outside, feature tiled towers and murals on ceramic made by the artist A. Sica, where you can see scenes from the history of Cordoba. In the interior of the Church, is located the pulpit carved in wood, the image of the Virgen de la Merced and the Christ of the agony. The Basilica is very crowded by the faithful in the celebration of September 24. I think that the most interesting is observed from the outside.
