  • Ideal to complete the pedestrian promenade together with Cathedral, home of the viceroy Sobremonte, Cabildo, Compañía de Jesús and the Rectorate. • Part of the Jesuit block. A national historic landmark. Heritage of mankind. Since its inception, and for almost two hundred years was what is known as Convictorio or where interned students attending the College CPDA took an life "conventual" type, with very rigid schedules and routines. Famous students: Juan José Castelli, Juan José Paso, Deán Gregorio Funes, Pedro Ignacio de Castro Barros, José Ignacio Gorriti and Eduardo Pérez Bulnes, among many others. It featured professors from abroad and academic level was excellent. Currently in mixed regime (although until 1998 there were only men). In the basement is the Museum Bishop, Fray José Antonio de San Alberto. Excellent guided tour!

  • The main cause of the success of the monse can be summarized in a few words: ".. .educar to youth in letters, but at the same time in virtue." That is, the integral formation of man, teaching him to think for itself so that it can be truly free, and inculcating virtue and responsibility, so that it can be really cult".
