Castle
Visit the historic Castillo San Carlos, an abandoned 19th century palace that was ruined in a fire in 1938 and a site of many local legends and mysteries. Antoine de Saint-Exupery landed here to rest from a flight in 1932, and was inspired by the castle and its surroundings to write “The Little Prince.” Take a guided tour of the place to learn about the history of the castle and the stories that surround it. Roam the spacious park that surrounds the ruins, have a picnic, or visit the botanical garden in the complex. • Linda attraction both for day and night because there is a light and sound show. They have put in value since it was looted and almost destroyed, but the remains of the Castle as the views that surround it deserve to be visited.
