Once the home of Justo Jose de Urquiza, Palacio San Jose immortalizes the former president of the Argentine Confederation. Opt for a guided tour of the residence to gain a fuller understanding of who the general and politician was and his significance for Argentina. By viewing the rooms of his former home, you’ll learn about Urquiza’s assassination, which took place in this home in 1870. Built with both Italian and Argentine architectural styles, the building has been kept well preserved. • Wonderful historic place worth visiting. The tour guide must be professional. I was on two occasions, the 1st time we had guide profedional provided very intetesantes data and historical information. In the 2nd and recent opportunity, we had a local gaucho guide you hurry to finish his turn to 16hs us took flying, he told little and poor, and lost a valuable opportunity of knowledge. There were domestic tourists and international xe america and Europe. I felt shame. The Chapel is very damaged externally. Evidence abandonment and neglect by our history and values.
