Molino Forclaz, Colon
(4.1/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Visit a rustic and charming monument to the agricultural heritage of the area at Molino Forclaz, an aesthetically pleasing stone windmill. The brainchild of Juan Bautista Forclaz, a Swiss immigrant, the windmill was completed in 1890. Unfortunately, due to the lack of proper wind speed and consistency required for the blades to turn, the windmill went largely unused until it became a local attraction and a National Historic Landmark in 1985. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Molino Forclaz by using our Colon travel itinerary planner.

  • It is a q If one passes by with. You must know it. We went to q my husband what I KNOW. It is once of the first coloneses and sanjosesinos. It is very interesting the way of life of the early settlers. Go to first time X the heat that makes the place. This the way to SAN Jose.

  • Beautiful place and exciting history of how it came to build and dying that mill. Don't forget to listen to the guided visit for a portion of this wonderful story. It is complex because the gps coordinates are not correct. Although asking is well and is very close to Columbus
