Bodega Pulmary, Chacras de Coria

4.6
#28 of 46 in Wineries in Mendoza
The personal touches on a tour of Bodega Pulmary distinguish this intimate winery from the larger bodegas of the area. Run by the Maures family, the winery maintains an emphasis on organic viniculture, producing a small quantity of wine every year to ensure ecological methods for retaining supreme quality. Helpful staff will inquire about your culinary requirements before the tour, so as to time food service with the conclusion of the main tasting events and tour of the vineyards. Look out for the dark red Malbec brut for a distinctive and delicious wine. To find out how to plan a trip to Mendoza, use our trip itinerary maker.

  • It is recommended to visit, it has a cost of 120 ARS per person. It is a small Winery, where organic, of very good quality wines are made. You can taste the wines that you offer and thus do a tasting. They only make wines of high quality standards and that is reflected also in the guided tour. The lady that we attended had a lot of information about the process ynos cleared a lot of doubts. Also he told us with much ease and precision the details of all the production process and taught us to distinguish differences between the type of wines, etc. I feel that it is Winery I visited which more I learned about wines.

  • For the second time we visited Pulmary, and in addition to continue learning at the hands of Diana, returned to taste excellent wines. And now we could also enjoy craft beer that also has a unique on-site process. A place that you can not miss

  • We had a really laid back and casual wine tasting and mini tour at Bodega Pulmary. Their wines are fantastic! They pulled wine right out of the casks for us to try, we tried them at various stages of aging and it was really interesting to taste the difference. The tasting and bottles for purchase were inexpensive for great quality, so I highly recommend a visit!

  • The experience was great! I went on honeymoon, and it was a perfect ride for the couple! Besides, the owners are super responsive, a lot of history, and on top of organic tasting!! We want to go back!

Where to stay in Mendoza

As the center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza offers plenty of conventional hostel and hotel options, as well as a good selection of short-term apartments for rent. Visitors taking language courses or spending several weeks on the wine route usually snatch these early in the tourist season (which lasts from mid-December to late-February), so it's a good idea to do some research and contact the owners before you arrive. Keep in mind that some of the town's hostels only offer beds to guests signed up for their wine tours.
