Cascada del Rio Agrio, Caviahue

4.8
#1 of 7 in Things to do in Caviahue
At Cascada del Rio Agrio, water plummets down into a crater colored green, red, and orange by mineral-rich rocks and the moss growing on them. The biggest of four waterfalls along the Rio Agrio's path, the cascade is easily accessible from nearby Caviahue, either on foot or by car. Admire the symmetry of the waterfall and the nearly circular crater. Don't forget your camera--you'll want the perfect photo of this natural, multicolored sensation. • It is located 18 km from the center of Caviahue, also known as Salto del Agrio. Impressive place, Cascade more high in the province. The colors of the surrounding vegetation and the water make it a very photographic place. Spectacular
