Parque Nacional Chaco, Capitan Solari

The Chaco National Park is a national park of Argentina, located in the province of Chaco. It has an area of 150 km2. It was created in 1954 in order to protect a sample of the Eastern Chaco, composed mainly of warm lowlands, with an annual summer rainfall between 750 and 1,300 mm.This park is a protected area for the quebracho trees. Forests of quebracho colorado chaqueño were once located in the north of Santa Fe and the western half of Chaco, and had entered the northeast region of the province of Corrientes. Its strong wood and its abundant tannin caused it to be over-exploited for a century. The area harbors several environments: scrubland, savanna, swamps, and small lakes. The scrubland is the habitat of the red quebracho, white quebracho, algarrobo, and lapacho, all of which are commercially valuable species. The fauna includes large predators such as cougars. In the lakes one finds yacare caimans and capybaras. Elsewhere there are armadillos, South American tapirs and plains viscachas, as well as birds . The fauna also includes the black howler monkey .

Place with several trails, most can be in vehicle, in my case that wasn't, was on foot. The entrance is a 5 km. of the town Captain Solari, where the Administrative Office of the Park is located. To get to the village from the resistance bus terminal, did it for the company "La Estrella" which has daily departure 06:30 hrs, 12:30 hs, 17:30 hrs and 20:00 hs, trip lasts approximately two and a half hours stopping along the way, climbing and descending passengers, the trip I cost $76 and has a stop in the garita de plaza and one block , on the corner where the Park Office is located. To enter the National Park you can pay a remis or walk the 5 km. I have opted to pay that I take per $100, then you can coordinate so they bring them or they come walking. The Park has a good camping area with bathrooms with showers and grills. They must be advertise on the Administration where he waited them staff of Rangers, who will explain the routes and which can be made. Features two long trails, one of 7.5 km and another about 10 Km, which vehicle is made much easier that walking, there are also other paths more short 3 Km and 2 Km. It is advisable to bring insect repellent of mosquitoes, water and food, since within the place there is no supply. As also wear long sleeves and cover the head. The best time is from April to October, then it is made difficult, by the intense heat and the killer mosquitoes. If you are lucky you can see armadillos, monkeys and birds. In my case, only vi an armadillo and some birds, Palm trees and other vegetation of the place, such as carob. Ah, has a short path of very picturesque Black River with a suspension bridge. To return you can climb to the microphone at the corner of the administrative office or one block in front of the square diagonally, there is a checkpoint, the hours are 05:30 hs, 06:00 hs, 11:30 hs, 17:00 hs and the latter at 19 h 15, cost $76 and the similar journey to the of ida. I hope to serve the information. They are well.

Because the Park is beautiful, but to enjoy it should be able to enter, and the soldier who lay at the door gives it by advancing the clock and tell the people arriving before the closing time, 7:30, which can not pass. As good abuser of his plot of power, for sarcastically say that you one arrived late while we're 3 people with cell phones that are synchronized through satellite and it shows you as joke your needle clock and says: I have the time. Very bad experience when one is going to run and enjoy a park, find a representative more than abuse. And by the way, who is the director of the Park, when asked who was the director @, the soldier responds: I, I am responsible for this park... so know you that the Lord is the tyrant of the Park. A disgusting.
