Cerro Uritorco, Capilla del Monte

4.2
Climb to the highest peak of the Sierras Chicas in a rewarding trek at Cerro Uritorco. Rated as a medium-difficulty hike, the official trail takes most of the day to complete. Once at the top, walk around to reap the fullest reward, as you'll get a sweeping view of the mountains and even find some other remote spots for pictures. The mountain has been a hotspot for UFO sightings and other paranormal incidents--hence the alien statues at the bottom of the park. • Lovers of the esoteric ensure that the place has strange powers, climbing one senses something that is difficult to explain. You can only climb. aunq is recommended with guide and there is a time limit for the escalation that is initial difficulty.

  • It is pure nature, transmits inner peace! It is ideal to recreate the mind, exercise walking through...

  • Apart from the difficulties mount, for people who do mountaineering, is a unique experience. If a moderate effort is coordinated, the arrival in the top Crown a wonderful promotion, full contact with nature, the possibility of enjoying the presence of hummingbirds and vultures, sucking the scents of plants... Most unique prize of self-improvement!

  • ok
  • I liked the experience. Above it was cloudy and had a terrible wind, but it was good. It seemed that there was nothing out of the mountain. The only downside is not seen the city and landscape. The route is demanding but is not extreme. It has 7 intermediate viewpoints where you can chill outside the path.

  • I went to early February. If you are looking for an experience spiritual does not go on holiday for example because there are many people. The breaks are very well located. When I went there was no guide. Bring plenty of water, and sweet and salty food. Avoid rise in days which makes it very hot or much cold. It is a lie that if nobody passes you something you will get, the private agency that charges you the entrance has teams.

  • Beautiful place. Ascend was a wonderful experience, but for what they charge, it should be better signposted. And at least in the fifth break, put bathrooms. The rest is just pure nature.

  • Road access destroyed. To get to the base of the hill there enter a private venue where they charge you. Is my question why they charge you? Dirt on all sides, made some years ago, destroyed facilities. No maintenance. Because the garbage containers. A pity to see all so come less.
