Admire the power of nature's designs at La Garganta del Diablo, one of the most impressive of the waterfalls that make up the celebrated Iguazu Falls on the border between Argentina and Brazil. Translated as the "Devil's Throat," the waterfall is over 80 m (262 ft) high and 150 m (492 ft) wide, creating a powerful wall of water that makes for arresting photos and a memorable sight. Located in the World Heritage-listed Iguazu National Park, the waterfall is surrounded by attractive scenery and wildlife, including a large number of jays.   • This is a lovely (and fairly quick) stop on the drive to Cafayate or Salta. It is quite amazing and fun for any with interest in geology, but also just neat for everybody. You can enter about half way...  more »
