#1 of 12 in Wineries in Northern Argentina
Winery / Vineyard Food & Drink
Pay a visit to Antigua Bodega Vasija Secreta, the oldest winery in Cafayate, and enjoy a taste of its products. Established in 1857, the winery's large tracts of land give its grapes a natural variance in taste, which the producers exploit to make a diverse range of wines. You can visit the on-site wine museum, or take one of the winery's popular guided tours to learn about the production process, followed by a short tasting session. Reserve your tour and tasting in advance to avoid disappointment. Plan your visit to Antigua Bodega Vasija Secreta and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Cafayate trip generator.

  • You can meet the winery on a quick tour. You can taste wines. The surrounding landscape is very beautiful.

  • The worst Winery that we went. In this Winery we were no more than 15 minutes. When you get a lady explains you very quickly the process (without leaving the place in no time) and make you taste a hint of wine of a single young wine. Then invite you to visit the Museum which does not take more than 2 minutes to see it. He would not return.

  • The wineries that we knew this was the best of all, they made a tour of the place while they explained and answered all the questions referring to the wine. A guide with lots of humor and knowledge, and at the end of the tour made us taste the wines and even how should serve and test correctly.
