Unicenter, Buenos Aires

4.5
With more than 300 stores, dozens of restaurants, a huge food court, and a 14-screen movie theatre, Unicenter offers plenty in the way of shopping and entertainment. When the mall opened in 1988, it represented the first of its size in Argentina. Browse through the many stores (which generally cater to the well-to-do), pick up a snack in the large supermarket, and head to the cinema for a show, where you can check out the sophisticated sound system. The shopping center also features an arcade and a bowling alley for less enthusiastic shoppers. • Unicenter Shopping is not the Mall more large Buenos Aires and therefore of Argentina. But if it is the most relevant for billing, volume of visitors and brands in the country. The Mall has been a little outdated front your competition by being completely covered and not own outdoor spaces free. Their food court has numerous gastronomic offers, his film, a lot of cinemas and a small sector of games for kids. The supermarket downstairs allows you to complete a purchase with selected local and imported products. At all levels there are bathrooms and if he attends weekend recommend to go to the opening, type 10 pm that afternoon is filled with people, especially the food court. It has free parking, a great advantage and some groups that leave you on the highway Pan-American and stepped in two blocks can be reached comfortably.

  • Nice mall, hot places to buy clothing most of all. But very expensive! And end of season sales are not really great. Discounts are up to 30%. Nothing!
  • A huge shopping centre with masses of choice. Best to avoid weekends as it gets packed. If I go it's very early on the morning on Monday.
  • Beautiful Holidays decor. 4D Star Wars movie at Hoyts inside the mall was awesome!
  • Good shops. Free parking. Quite expensive. Very bad service at Jumbo Supermarket.
  • Big shopping mall with most Argentine and international brands. THe Mall has a big Movie area with most fast food eating places like Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, etc. It has a wonderful parking area and the security is quite good.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
