Recoleta Mall, Buenos Aires

3.5
Escape the heat and indulge in some retail therapy at Recoleta Mall. Redeveloped in 2011 at a cost of around $100 million, the air-conditioned shopping mall stands out for its abstract facade and striking interior design. Explore the many stores, then pop down to the below-ground theater to catch the latest flick. Wrap it up with a meal or coffee at the food court. A visit to Recoleta Mall represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Buenos Aires day trip website to plot your vacation.

  • Right place if you want to decorate your House with original details and design... Objects of all kinds but all very expensive

  • It has good businesses and cafes. On the ground floor where there are hundreds of people crossing that level (are the cinemas also) there is only one bathroom for disabled. It must be queuing to use this unique bathroom for a whole floor. Honestly I do not understand how they have achieved municipal empowerment.

  • Definitely recommend cinemas that exist in this mall! You have good options to eat, it's not very big but glad to take it... To have a good time...

  • Nice small mall, great cinema screens, lot of coffee shops and massive book store. I really recommend the breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien! =0)
  • You should visit this place if you are tourist, the shopping mall it isn't big but it is good enough for food, and I love the theaters in bookstores.
  • The only thing I don't like about this shopping are the access to the bathrooms, but it's a fancy place and nice to hang out. Several things to do around because it's located next to Cementerio la Recoleta and extensive places to drink and eat. To me, the nicest area in Buenos Aires Capital
  • Small selection of clothing stores. Nice cafecitos on the street. I recommend Pani.
  • I'm used to traditional American Malls. The mall is very nice, but lacks somethings.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
