Recoleta Mall, Buenos Aires

3.5
Escape the heat and indulge in some retail therapy at Recoleta Mall. Redeveloped in 2011 at a cost of around $100 million, the air-conditioned shopping mall stands out for its abstract facade and striking interior design. Explore the many stores, then pop down to the below-ground theater to catch the latest flick. Wrap it up with a meal or coffee at the food court. A visit to Recoleta Mall represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Buenos Aires day trip website to plot your vacation.

  • Very pleasant environment, with beautiful shops, cafés and restaurants. Great option for those who go to the Recoleta cemetery, behind.

  • The prices are very affordable and the Mall is small. You basically lies in a spiral of short runners followed by multiple escalators. I felt like a rat in a cage.

  • Although the place is located at a point strategic for the city of Buenos Aires, as Recoleta's there is the name of the place, missing more promotion of the place so that more people visit it. Perhaps a strategy so that it is not full of people, since the place is not very big. Anyway well worth knowing the place.

  • Some great little shops although v expensive in the main. Cinema is plush. Popcorn (large) 🍿 & drink 140 pesos. Food hall offers a Mostaza & a typical parrilla called Angus which is not too bad. Offer of one free cinema ticket with meal v good. Never v busy. In good location.
  • Everything here is 100% good. It is a must place to visit,if you are in Buenos Aires
  • Nice place, too small but has most of the usual stores you might find in a decent mall. The food court is too expensive, even for that area in Buenos Aires.
  • Shipping, food and movies in one place. Great for rainy days in town.
  • It has almost all the famous argentinian brands. The food halls are not so good, but it is close to a great restaurants area one block away.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
