  • You will not have all the details of other European passages, but was very important in the city, and has features that make it different from other places. There are premises of seals, a former hairdresser, a restaurant. I recommend going around it.

  • Only building with direct access to Perú on line A of the subway (super worth a visit!), was the first gallery in Buenos Aires and despite being a tad decadent still has beautiful stained glass Windows and bronze details in your interior.

  • When you enter this place you go back 100 years in time. Take the stairs down to the metro linea A which was the first underground in Latin America inaugurated in 1913.
  • A passage that brings you back to the past. That's great!

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
