  • Saturday 6 February-We just came from a visit to the Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires (MALBA) and we decide to walk down some streets to reach the Avenida Libertador. Very elegant area in the heart of Palermo Chico. We are observing the beautiful shaded houses and villas in the area, when we are intrigued by this church opened. We enter and remain enchanted by this environment that seems built in the middle ages in Romanesque style. You enjoy an intimate and ancient of true Christianity in this parish sober and without unnecessary frills. Built in the early 1900 's in honor of the patron saint of the city of Buenos Aires, one of the oldest saints of Christianity dating back to 300 ad, is very little known. Recommended visit

  • It was the cornerstone of the temple on November 11, 1930 and was blessed the day of 1931. Since its erection the parish was entrusted to the Assumptionist fathers (order of the Augustinians of the assumption) until March 24, 1980, date they were made to charge the parents of the order of St. Augustine. The parish remains a famous relic of St. Martín de Tours, patron of the city of Buenos Aires.
