This green space is ideal for making long walks along the River, see a part of the recent history of the Argentina and sit down and feel the air and look at the horizon, one of the more open views of the city of Buenos Aires. You can ride a bike. SII have thirst for River, do not hesitate to visit this place. There is always some interesting sample. The entry is free of charge.

This place is wonderful. It is important to remember the past of a country and the victims of State terrorism. The Park is beautiful and also is now exhibited here a fabulous installation of anish kapoor on the theme of exile. A marvel. Hopefully many reach to see her.

Memory Park Crown the waterfront North of the city of Buenos Aires, beyond restaurants and just before the renewed University City. It is a park memorial which remembers to victims of State and para-State terrorism in Argentina since 1969. And also is a succinct explanation and easy to understand on the recent history of Latin America, with their problems, their causes and consequences. All in a tranquil place along the River, that encourages introspection and personal reflection. You should be mandatory for high school visit. And meanwhile, place that can not fail to visit if one lives in the greater Buenos Aires or comes to visit.

My husband and I went for a walk around the memorial and found it to be very peaceful...there is a museum on site to read more facts about the time...personally found it difficult to read about and feel all the tradegys of the era...but nonetheless a beautiful, clean peaceful memorial

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
