Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.

  • Great place to hang out on a Saturday or a Sunday sith your family. Open space, lots of grass, a pond... One of the best nature spots you can get in Buenos Aires
  • Always something on, fair stands set up every weekend including public holidays. Live music, bands or health activities available to the community on weekends. A good place to chill out, relax and snooze under one of the many well established deciduous trees and read a book or google on your smart phone or tablet using the wifi provided free of charge by the BA local government

  • Nice park, the lake, fountains and statues are a good addition, lots of fair booths... Still, Lago de Regatas and Bosques de Palermo are a much nicer destination.
