  • Compared to other parks of Buenos Aires, this is a very simple, with a very beautiful Lake in the Center. By staying in a residential area, you can see that is a park frequented by locals and by tourists. People who attend, go to work, study, walk the dogs (which has a lot and I love it!), or simply lie down on the grass to rest. Around the Park, there is a handicrafts fair that, from what I've seen, sells everything; from clothes, to old records. If you have ever been to Buenos Aires and already know the main points of interest, worth knowing this park as a location.

  • This Park gets interesting especially the findesemana where it is filled with a very large products fair. It's worth the time. The park itself is very large.

  • A beautifully landscaped park with tracks for biking / running.. There is a "ferria" on weekends and is always bubbling with energy.. Lot of out door activities happen in weekend too..
  • Beautiful place with a lake at the center of the plaza. People can do yoga and walk their dogs
  • Great place to hang out on a Saturday or a Sunday sith your family. Open space, lots of grass, a pond... One of the best nature spots you can get in Buenos Aires
  • Always something on, fair stands set up every weekend including public holidays. Live music, bands or health activities available to the community on weekends. A good place to chill out, relax and snooze under one of the many well established deciduous trees and read a book or google on your smart phone or tablet using the wifi provided free of charge by the BA local government
  • Nice during the week. Too cowded during the weekend

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
