I went with one of my little granddaughters to an activity in the winter break. It is located in Chile 832. It is a large house around 1850. Talking to one of the people who works there, tells me that the space is insufficient, because they have much material to display, but there is no space. Anyway recently that has new authorities and they have projects. Vestments are on display from 1800 to the sixties of the 20th century. A detail that I am interested in is the clothing used in 1810, for the men is similar to that one always saw in the school holidays, but the women's was very different from that always showed us. I had no crinoline, and was quite sejncilla.

We arrived without much expectations but we were offered at 17 pm a guided tour. Guide a master and very interesting. The Museum features 6 rooms within a typical house 1820 sausage, very good to see original costumes and learn the history

Very nice old House and good example of old clothing. Excellent tour by a person who knows a lot about the subject. There is an interesting parallel between the history and fashion. Very good idea let use be able to feel some fabrics and accessories. To improve the maintenance of the front and the roof of the House

It is a museum with much potential, the people who work here are super friendly, but found me that there was little variety of costumes. I liked what I saw, but would like to see more.

Costumes, dresses, uniforms, details, embroidery, hats, fabrics, models, which were marking times, went 2 times, the second time conditioning had 2 rooms more (an 1800 House beautiful), in where added models of costumes, uniforms, dresses of Peron and Evita,.. .no is that there are so many models of suits or dresses, but that those who are exposed no doubt definitely marked the times and details, gloves, hats, etc. are really interesting,.. .you love the House, very well maintained, was from a family of popularity of the 1800, well the Museum is recommended, free.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
