  • This Museum occupies a building of notable architecture built in 1862 which was declared a historical monument in 2005. The aim of the Museum is the monetary history of the country and the institutional history of the Central Bank. It has several rooms on the 1st floor permanent exhibition and temporary exhibition on the ground floor. When visited it in July had an exhibit on the ticket of $500 next out in circulation. Displays large number of coins and banknotes of different eras, paneling with information and some equipment; all very well exposed and explained. The rooms are in excellent condition, very clean and in access it is possible to apply for a guide to explore the Museum. There is also a specialized library. It is open from 10 to 16 hours. and admission is free. It is worth visiting it since it is very interesting
