I think it is only a sample of our early characters, small, dark, poorly maintained, does not justify the price of admission ($40) face in my opinion, if we add the inconveniences caused by the "rags" parking, less justifies a visit.

It is a very limited sample, where we can see statues moulded in wax, very well achieved, but few. It is a typical house tenement, gloomy by the low lighting. It has also exhibition tickets, newspaper clippings with allusion to the neighborhood of the mouth and some paintings. It is acceptable and takes little time to explore it.

Historical wax museum is located in the mouth, very close to the street Museum path. Unlike other similar museums, wax replicas have been directed primarily to scenes reflecting the rawness and reality that existed at different times in the history of Argentina. Thus, you can find the representation of two foundations of Buenos Aires, the attack of an indigenous malon, the candombre, the duel, a brawl of roosters or two dancers of the tango orillero. However, there is also room for figures who took part in these episodes, as the two developed Don Pedro de Mendoza and Don Juan de Garay, the chieftains Namuncurá, Pincén and Catriel, Cafulcurá, Don Juan Manuel de Rosas, the Admiral Gullermo Brown, protagonists of hard early. There is also room for other emblematic figures as the painter Benito Quinquela Martín, Juan de Dios Filiberto composer or the mythical singer Edmundo Rivero. Very interesting walk through different historical moments. Ideal to go alone, in couple or with friends.

It is a small review of Buenos Aires. Interesting. The Government of CABA could invest money there really and make an important place of international level.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
