Immerse yourself in a blend of historical and modern architecture at Museo Del Bicentenario, built around the arches and foundations of Buenos Aires' former customs house. The underground museum takes you on a visual and auditory journey through Argentina's history, from independence to the present day. Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.

  • I understand some Spanish, but I can't believe that such an important museum wouldn't have at least English subtitles.
  • Loved the deaplays even though there wasn't much English... Made it a bit hard. Very small museum
  • It's a great place to learn more about the history of Argentina. Almost everything is in Spanish.
  • In a blink of an eye you can get a panoramic view of the argentine history. The scenario? The ruins of the antique customs just behind Casa Rosada. The price? For free. Unique, unbelievable. Must visit.
  • Amazing museum with tons of information about City and Independence of Argentina. They have a unique art piece(a room) which I would recommend for any one visiting BA.
