  • The Museum is very interesting to visit. As that night in particular not was it paid entry. I was especially because it was a night of Opera presented by the Opera Festival in Buenos Aires. They had also presented the Saturday before. Very good!!!

  • Very interesting collection of Hispanic art. Zeitgeist as all existing museums, with a dynamic tour, with graphics and explanatory texts. On the front it has an accompanied by figures in human scale, spectacular altarpiece. To highlight concerts. They should fix the garden which is a little neglected.

  • Lovely old palace housing an interesting exhibition of colonial objects. Musicians play the antique violins during recitals - the acoustics are excellent.
  • Nice and cheap!
  • Art from the Spanish colonial era. Lots of religious art and ornate silverware housed in an old mansion surrounde by a walled garden. Worthwhile
  • I went to a concert but definitely shocked me to want to go back and visit the Museum, beautiful what little I could see!

  • In addition to its fine collections of colonial silversmiths, they exhibit an important collection of violins and violas of luthiers of time. The building is a beautiful colonial mansion that offers an excellent series of concerts of high level and very affordable access.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
