Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.

  • Is located right in front of the casa rosada, so it is impossible to go to Buenos Aires and don't know the monument. For those who like photo, to enjoy the background of the picture with the casa rosada, the banco de la nacion and other beautiful buildings of the Plaza de Mayo.

  • The monument is located in the Plaza de Mayo, as well as many others, they can often go unnoticed, is right in front of the Casa Rosada, and the fact that the excitement of taking a picture with the bottom of the House, can make you don't even notice it.

  • In every square of a monument to Argentina's Belgrano, this one stands out a jump with his sword drawn in front of the Casa Rosada, basically it's not bad.

  • Nice monument located in Plaza De Mayo. Accessible by public transport or a little walk from Puerto Medero. It's a statue of a general riding a horse. Couldn't get the history as the plaque was in Spanish
